WoW China: For Terrorists?
Song Jianxin, director the office of online publishing management within the Chinese General Administration of Press and Publication’s (GAPP) department of technology and digital publishing, has said that a panel of experts discovered violent, gory and disturbing content in Netease’s (Nasdaq: NTES) version of World of Warcraft now under review. The content was found to be hazardous to minors' mental health, contains detailed descriptions of how to manufacture deadly biological weapons and could induce youth to imitate dangerous and illegal behavior.
Song emphasized the cultural differences in ideas and ideology found in WoW. He added that Eastern cultures could not directly import Westernized games without making some alterations.

Wired.com: For people who are nostalgic for the old world before Cataclysm, is there going to be some way to revisit Azeroth as it was before?
Stockton: I think that’s what Caverns of Time is for. We’ll definitely have the ability to do that kind of stuff, but we are also going to do a huge world event leading up to the Cataclysm. Some time after patch 3.3 and after (the Lich King) Arthas is defeated, you’ll definitely see a giant world event that affects the Alliance and the Horde very, very much. It’s going to change everything for them. It’s probably going to last something like a month. Something similar to the zombie invasion before Northrend. It will be something that will roll out slowly over time. But we are planning to do a huge world event, so everyone will know the Cataclysm is coming.
Stockton: Camp Taurajo is burned down and attacked by the Alliance.

However, aspirants to Insane or Exalted titles may want to put their efforts into higher gear. Chilton said that many old world factions will be adjusted and updated to the post-”Cataclysm” world, but that there was a chance that some would simply disappear, swallowed up by earthquakes and tsunamis. He wouldn’t say who was being examined and who was up on the chopping block, but the Shen’dralar faction — the highborne elves in Dire Maul — came up as an example of the kind of factions that were likely to see a change.
The thing with people littering the ground with corpses will hopefully be addressed in a way that if you are not in the party with that player you won't see those corpses if it's coming from a trial account

Arthas tends to be considered the biggest force of destruction in the universe because he is very fresh in peoples' minds based on being fairly recently introduced through Warcraft 3 and staring everybody down since then. Remember though that even to break away from the control of the Burning Legion, it required a great deal of cunning and manipulation - he wasn't able to simply overpower them.
Deathwing on the other hand is a much more legendary figure and one of the greatest powers ever to exist on Azeroth. It took the might of all the other dragon aspects against him to force him into hiding. He also knows almost every being on the world will be against him so he wouldn't reveal himself unless he felt ready to take on anything that will face him.

Orgrimmar destroyed? No. Given a bit of a make-over and a bit more iron in its spine (so to speak)? Yes.
